Adolf Hitler Presentation Frame ( Boxed ) AH Staatsrahmen # 1443
This example of the Hitler state presentation frame had been sitting with the veterans family since I obtained it early this year. It was housed within its original presentation box which protected it and is absolutely mint condition and as new. The Hitler presentation frames are desirable and sought after pieces, the box however is even more rare than the frame making this example a rare combination. When I received the piece it was minus the photo and I had a professional copy made off the original, original photos do come up and dedicated examples that are as complete as this bring a lot of money.
The frame bears the
proper hallmarks for the firm of FHW, is manufactured of .935 silver and
has toned in areas as silver does. Bearing the Greek key design to the
front with the Reich Adler and the A.H for Adolf Hitler. The rear is
perfect and is of brown leather and is also flawless with hinges intact
with all keepers in place and the stand with ribbon spacer is like the
day it was made.
The box is the typical Moraccan red leather
with the large Reich Adler, bound by the famed Frieda Thiersch who was
responsible for most all high end award documents during the period
inclusive of the Knights Cross, the box which I have photographed
extensively is not mint but quite healthy and the photos should tell the
story on that. One section of the interior border that houses the frame
has come away but is present and it is complete, Adolf Hitler frames
can be had in the market but the boxes can literally double the value
and most times they contain a presentation photo that drives the price
up into the high 5 figures and out of reach of most collectors.
